Day 1 · Arrival in Casablanca
Welcome at Casablanca airport and a first taste of modern Morocco. Visit of the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, rising over the Atlantic Ocean. Night in Casablanca.

Day 2 · Casablanca · Rabat · Meknes · Fes
Departure for Rabat, the capital: Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Oudayas kasbah above the Bouregreg. On to Meknes, Moulay Ismail's imperial city (Bab Mansour gate), and arrival in Fes.

Day 3 · Fes (guided tour)
Full day with a local guide in Fes el-Bali, the medieval UNESCO World Heritage medina: the Al Qarawiyyin university (859), the Bou Inania madrasa, the Chouara tanneries and the maze of souks and guilds.

Day 4 · Fes · Ifrane · Midelt · Ziz Valley · Erfoud · Merzouga
A long, beautiful crossing towards the desert: Ifrane and the Middle Atlas cedars, Midelt, the spectacular Ziz Valley and Erfoud. Arrival in Merzouga, sunset camel ride and a night at a camp among the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Sunrise over the dunes and the start of the return. Towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, with limestone walls up to 300 m, to the Dades Valley.

Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and Valley of Roses towards Ouarzazate. Visit of the Ait Ben Haddou ksar (UNESCO), a setting for many films, and the High Atlas crossing over the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Marrakech.
