A north-to-south crossing from Fes to Marrakech, through the Middle Atlas, the Ziz Valley and the heart of the Sahara. Three days with a night in a camp by the Erg Chebbi dunes, ancient kasbahs and the most spectacular landscapes of southern Morocco.

Suggested route. The tour is 100% private and adaptable: departure and arrival points and the pace can be modified to your taste.
DAY1
Day 1 · Fez · Ifrane · Ziz Valley · Erfoud · Merzouga
Pick-up in Fez around 8:00 and on to the desert via Ifrane (the 'Moroccan Switzerland') and the Azrou cedar forest with its monkeys. Down through Midelt, the Ziz gorges and Erfoud (fossils) to Merzouga. Sunset camel ride to camp: dinner, Berber music and a night in a tent.

DAY2
Day 2 · Merzouga · Rissani · Todra · Dades
Optional sunrise over the dunes and back to Merzouga. Visit the Rissani souk and on through Berber villages (Tinjdad, Jorf) to the Todra gorges (300 m walls) and the Dades valley. Dinner and night in a riad.

DAY3
Day 3 · Dades · Valley of Roses · Ouarzazate · Ait Ben Haddou · Marrakech
Breakfast with Dades views and on to Marrakech via the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm groves. Visit Ouarzazate (Taourirt kasbah) and Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO), then over the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka to Marrakech, where the trip ends.
