DAY1
Day 1 · Marrakech · Tizi n'Tichka · Ait Ben Haddou · Ouarzazate · Dades
Pick-up at your accommodation in Marrakech around 8:00 and over the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, among Berber villages. Visit Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO), a famous film location, and on through Ouarzazate and the Skoura oasis. Along the 'road of a thousand kasbahs' to the Valley of Roses (Kalaat M'Gouna) and the Dades valley, where we have dinner and spend the night.

DAY2
Day 2 · Dades · Todra Gorges · Erfoud · Merzouga
After breakfast, drive through the Dades canyon and Berber villages to the Todra Gorges, with rock walls up to 300 m high. On through Erfoud to Merzouga and the great Erg Chebbi dunes. Sunset camel ride to camp: mint tea, Berber music, dinner and a night in a tent under the stars.

DAY3
Day 3 · Merzouga · Ziz Valley · Azrou · Ifrane · Fez
Optional sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at camp. We leave the desert towards Fez via Errachidia, stopping at the Ziz valley viewpoint and its palm groves. On through Midelt, the Azrou cedar forest (with its monkeys) and Ifrane before reaching Fez, where the trip ends.
