Day 1 · Tangier · Asilah

Pick-up in Tangier, "the door of Africa," with part of the morning to get to know the city. Visit the Caves of Hercules, whose entrance faces the Atlantic, and Asilah, one of the most beautiful seaside villages in the north, with blue houses and colorful murals. Day 2 · Asilah · Rabat

After breakfast, on to Rabat, the "City of Gardens" and administrative capital: a mix of ancestral and modern culture, with harmonious gardens and luxury shops. Free time. Overnight in a charming hotel. (210 km)

Day 3 · Casablanca

A trip to the famous Ouzoud waterfalls (110 m) in the High Atlas (Azilal province), the most beautiful in Morocco and North Africa, amid idyllic landscapes. In the afternoon, the monkeys that inhabit the area. (310 km)

Day 8 · Marrakech · Ait Ben Haddou · Dades Valley

Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, past Berber nomad villages. The Kasbah of Telouet (one of the best preserved) and the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a film location for over twenty movies (such as "Babel"). Through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to the Dades Gorges, start of the "Route of a thousand kasbahs." Dinner and overnight in a charming hotel. (326 km)

Day 9 · Dades Valley · Todra Gorges · Merzouga

Visit the Todra Gorges, with a pleasant walk between walls over 200 m high, and out to the desert through the Tafilalet palm grove. On arrival, a walk on the fine sand of Erg Chebbi. Moroccan dinner and overnight in a charming hotel. (270 km)

Day 10 · Merzouga (4x4 desert tour)

By 4x4 across the Erg Chebbi dunes: nomadic families, wild oases, landscapes and small villages. A visit to Khamlia village (people from Mali) with a Gnawa music concert and tea. In the afternoon, a 90-minute camel ride to the heart of the desert for the sunset. Dinner, tea and a night in a nomad tent under the stars. (45 km)

Day 11 · Merzouga · Rissani · Ziz Valley · Midelt

Sunrise among the dunes and a camel ride back to the hotel. After a shower and breakfast, Rissani, the most authentic and largest souk in southern Morocco. Via Erfoud, "the ancient gate of the desert," and the impressive Ziz Valley with over 18,000 palm trees to Midelt. Dinner and overnight in a charming hotel. (334 km)

Day 13 · Fes (full-day guided tour)

A full day in Fes, another of the 4 imperial cities and the country's religious and cultural center. We explore its districts: Fès el-Jdid with the Mellah and the Ville Nouvelle, and Fès el-Bali, the walled medina, with potters, smiths and craftsmen. In the tanners' souk we take part in the artisanal leather process. Overnight in a charming riad.

Day 14 · Fez · Chefchaouen

An early departure to Chefchaouen, a charming town on the slopes of the Tisouka and Megou mountains in the Rif; its name, from Berber, means "look at the horns." There is little traffic and clean, fresh air that invites you to discover the place. Overnight in a charming riad. (213 km)
